It wasn't really a 3vs1, just like it wasn't a 3vs1 Miko being aided by Futo and Tojiko in TD or the Prismrivers in PCB, because you don't fight 3 spell cards at once, the extra characters are part of the spell cards. It is the same as anyone else using a "slave type" attack.
