Rwby getting an anime done by Shaft and directed by the Urobutcher himself. Plus it's an AU.
Gen Urobuchi is credited for "conceptualizing" the anime. Kenjirou Okada is the one credited as the chief director, his past work in a similar position is March comes in like a lion. For me, the part I have the most concerns on is that Tow Ubukata is writing and supervising the scripts for the series, since I generally haven't liked his other works.

Yup, keep your expectations low and you can only be proven right or pleasantly surprised.
Oh, so only people who like something are allowed to analyze it? People who love something are more likely to overlook negative aspects of it. Not to mention that low expectations don't automatically mean you don't like it.

No. I'm saying it's better to have realistic expectations

realistic as in, if anyone looked at Shaft's past works, they dont always hit gold, Fate/Last Encore is still leaving me scratching my head over what Nasu wanted to do with it. And Gen is also far from having flawless record. When he is fully writing a work, you get Madoka Magica. When he is only doing a few episodes, you get Psycho Pass and Gargantia. When he is only lending his name for clout and F off, you get Aldnoah Zero, hyped like the Gundam Killer but fizzled out like a European team in a FIFA World Cup.
