I don't think it's a hatred of Ganyu, honestly. I think Nyantcha loves the idea of Ganyu being a total masochist and regrets every second of it, especially around Childe who constantly invokes it. If she wasn't a total doormat, and if Childe wasn't a total jackass, Nyantcha would probably have made this a more widely accepted ship. I mean, she made Aether and Keqing a ship, and Aether's a perv who constantly has sex with her, despite knowing that she could fry his insides, and she has tased him more than once.

To put it simple, artist being double standard and butchered both characters. Childe definitely won't do something like this.
