That reminds me of the return drive from a road trip where the three of us who went hadn't slept at all. They both passed out in the car as soon as they sat down, leaving me to drive the entire three hours by myself. To keep myself from falling asleep again I started calling my friends and explaining that "I haven't slept, am now driving and almost hit two different semis and need to talk to them so that I don't fall asleep again and die!" I couldn't get a hold of my first choice, so I called the next in line with the same intro I typed above. His response was, "Hey, I'm actually about to go eat dinner with [his girlfriend]. Can I call you back?" I got pissed and shouted, "I'M GOING TO DIE IF I FALL ASLEEP, YOU DUMBASS!!!" "Ok, I'll talk to you later then, bye!" and hung up. I kicked him in the face later.
