Kasen being a glutton is canon. She's seen eating food almost every time she appears in official works iirc.

The translation should reflect the original text as accurately as possible. That looks like the character for "Yukari" to me, not "gap hag"

Yeah I know, it's just artists tend to lean into that aspect of her character moreso than the manga, as far as I have seen.
