Something off-putting about this cyclops design for me. If that eye were spherical it would take up the entire head cavity.
Almost all Cyclops design running around in anime art weren't feasible if they're real creatures anyway. Except the ones where their eyes are as small as normal eye.

There actually are some nocturnal mammals with really huge eyes on a small head. The trick is they aren't spherical, which means they can't move their eyes.

Might work, but still, at that design you'd be looking at something around 30-40% heavier head in total compared to normal human's, since there's not enough space for the sinuses. That means cyclops' necks also needs to be both more robust and have larger turning radius to accommodate for the blind spots. Not to mention the lacrymal glands would also be larger and be placed on both sides of the eye instead of just one corner.
Also, the non-spherical design combined with larger volumes would mean that Cyclops are prone to getting Glaucoma more than normal humans.
