I'm starting to get pissed off...

I don't want to be impolite, but what happens is:

Once I uploaded two pictures from that artist Hareko.
Both of them got deleted because they didn't get a mod approval.

Well, now I got a lot of Urotan pictures and I kindly go here to upload them, since I didn't see them somewhere else and I believe it's hard to find them.

Then I carefully tag each one of the pictures and even create new tags, modifying them (like Momoiro Guardian, Kirisaki Kaede etc.) and...

Well my posts weren't approved yet?

I don't see what's the problem with them. The resolution is fine, the tagging is correct and the art is great.

Now, the worst of all, why was THIS PICTURE post #536994 that was posted MUCH AFTER my pictures approved, and mine weren't yet? I believe the quality of these are even higher and the size of the files are very similar.

I'm really disappointed, I really like this site and it has helped me a lot. But when I try to help, I get ignored and all my efforts are deleted without reason. I'll stop uploading things here then. Is it what you want?

I'm sorry if it is what you want, I simply didn't know. Only wanted to help and try to pay off some of the help Danbooru gave me.

The picture you linked as an example was posted by a Contributor - their pictures are auto-approved, because of that status.

I can certainly sympathize, as there are plenty of times that Danbooru has accepted some odd pictures, yet neglected what appear to be good posts (PS. Urotan = Win, Thanks!!).

The only solution is no solution, I'm afraid: I give Danbooru the gift of post, and if Danbooru doesn't want it, oh well, at least I tried.

Isn't there a deletion appeal thread in the forums?

Just dont upload man, at least dont if it gets you this upset, its bad for your hearth

I guess it can't be helped, I inquired about this matter once, they said it actually depends on the mods "tastes". No problem on my account (well except for some ass-kissers/boot-lickers who are roaming around the forums at that time). It's the site's rules anyway and it's someone else's lost, not yours, after all you uploaded it. If there's a consolation for those unapproved pics, they are automatically uploaded on Gelbooru (by a bot if I'm not mistaken)

Anyway, thanks for sharing Debbie, I've been sniffing around for Urotan's work :)

I wonder... What should I do to reach "Contributor" status? It's not very nice to wait until your pictures get approved.

Of course, I perfectly understand if that's not possible to me.

If I'm not mistake, you can become a contributor by uploading enough quality work to the site that gets approved. So it's pure luck for a good bit.
