Just a bit of a test with Blender 2.8's eevee(a rendering engine that doesn't take two days to render a single animation). Still tons to learn, but I'm getting there. My first few attempts were like I was learning to animate for the first time all over again. I was a bit iffy a week or so into learning Blender if it was going to be worth it, but now I'm kind of in the position where there would be a lot I'd miss going back to SFM so I'll probably stick with it.
