Wait. Enzo? Is it supposed to be the same one from the Devil May Cry series? Or is it possible that the game's director likes to have a character with that name?
I understand he's a character in the game, jerkass. But if you recall, there's a guy named Enzo in the DMC series as well, I'm just curious if it's a coincidence or maybe something else. Sheesh.

It's not a coincidence. The director of Bayonetta made DMC. Enzo previously was only present in the DMC manga. Looks like he liked the character enough to add him to his new project!
Well it can be if the character isn't the same one. It might possibly be something like "Cid" in Final Fantasy, it's never the same character, but it's name that you can always bet will turn up. Granted, this is the second game he's done with a character named Enzo. Though you did forget, Enzo was in the manual for the first game, I think, giving some kind of testimony regarding Dante. Plus, he was in the novel prequel *well, before the manga supplimented it*
