I would think that they are force feeding the Yukkuri, which is the food; except that it's not a real one judging by the ear. But I still find it disgusting to pick food out of the mouth of a creepy looking creature.

is there a name for this kind of scenes? I have seen plentyh of Touhou pics where the girls are eating together at the kotatsu, but never knew what the dish is called or how to call the scene

I think its tsukiyaki a hotpot thing with meat an vegetables not sure bout the spelling but I believe that is the meal usually had near or during the winter season

6 years late, but sukiyaki is to hot pot dishes what a rifle is to firearms. There are other hot pot dishes as well.
