I'd argue that the trans community is the one being bigoted here for stealing a character that is an icon in the femboy community, in yet another instance of discriminating against and/or denying the existence of real-life femboys.

Alright, look. The trans community didn't steal shit. Just because there are stupid assholes ruining things for everyone else does not mean the trans community is some monolithic malicious force trying to turn your hundreds of femboy/trap icons into trans characters. Last I checked, trans characters are a lot fucking rarer, so you'll have to forgive some people for overstepping their bounds every time they finally get one.
The creator of GG decided to make Bridget trans, and there's evidence that he plans stuff like this years in advance, so it's entirely possible he always knew the character would end up here. There's no room in this topic for "evil trans people are stealing my underage femboys ; C;!!¡!" rhetoric, because trans people had nothing to do with this development, and nothing any one says, regardless of the side they're on, will change what has become canon.
Shit, even your links outright prove that what you describe is just twitter being the shithole it always is. You can't judge an entire community by how some of its members act on Twitter. Twitter should just die, it's so harmful to literally anyone regardless of background.

Well excuse me for having a generally dim view of the community when even the "mainstream" part of it turns a blind eye to the assholes in question in the name of presenting a united front. I sympathize with them over the suffering they have and continue to experience, but that doesn't give them a free pass for anything.
As for planning Bridget's trans reveal, my understanding is that the decision was the creator caving in to long-running criticism of the character as being loaded with tropes that are considered homophobic and/or transphobic in the West; the original intention was simply a comedy relief character based on gender nonconformity.
Also, if you actually look around the GG discussions, you'll find trans people coming out and objecting to the change, with reasons including that Bridget's backstory is not even remotely representative of the trans experience.
And Twitter being a shithole is just a product of there being a lot of shitstains out there who are simply emboldened to be outspoken by both online anonymity and the ease of spreading their drivel on the platform. It doesn't magically magnify the presence of a tiny minority of assholes unless they already have access to an inordinate amount of resources.

Stop saying "they". I'm sorry that every trans person in existence isn't on a crusade to shut down the awful ones. This is such a blind take, because you can literally see trans people in your links rejecting those assholes on Twitter, and providing support and apologies. I mean, most trans people are still facing daily discrimination, so I would imagine they're a little more focused on their own problems, over fighting a pointless battle with other members of their community.
Do you judge all Caucasians by the actions of the KKK? White people aren't usually going out of their way to demonize the group, even if they find them reprehensible, because it usually doesn't need to be said that not everyone agrees with them, and anyone with basic sense is able to understand that the KKK is not representative of the entire white race.

Based on what? Did Daisuke do any interview saying as much? Or are you just baselessly projecting motive onto him and his team?

And if you look around fucking everywhere you'll see trans people in support of the change, claiming it to be very similar to their own trans experience. Does one trans person speak for the entire community? Does one KKK member speak for all Caucasians? You're still speaking from a stance of the trans community being a monolith, where anyone who isn't an ally is an enemy, where if you aren't loudly outspoken against every mistake made by members of the community, you must be in support of them.

It literally does? Do you know how easy it is to gain a following on twitter? You don't need resources to be "successful" on Twitter, nor do you need them to spread your message as far as possible. The site is practically tailor made for "proselytizing" to as large of an audience as possible.
Did you know only 23% of Americans use Twitter? There are a lot of assholes in the world, and they're a lot more outspoken online due to anonymity, but Twitter is not representative of the entirety of any community. The funny thing about a space being a constantly growing source of toxicity is that it will inevitably drive away sane people, and convert the more impressionable to the same mindset. The "vocal minority" has all the tools to yell as loudly as they want, will continuously grow as "the good ones" are driven off the platform.
