I hate how toxic this has gotten. As much as I support LGBT, I would really appreciate if we didn't get pieces expressing childish slangs and meme phrases like this. It really doesn't give them any good image nor helps their cause beyond making themselves look annoying. Let's not, please. The one without "stay mad" is fine tho. (go ahead and downvote me, it will prove my point further)
Nice to see people upload deliberately provacative things for no purpose other than to cause trouble, really what I want on my anime image website.
These are common tactics held by political parties (mostly republicans) to incite hate and recruit new forces. It has happened at least since the Gamergate movement to gain new voters. As long as you don't bite you won't fall on that trap.

It's honestly baffling how they believe this helps their cause or gain any more respect. It's always a bad image to be obnoxious about things you care about, there's gotta be a balance and a sense of morality that doesn't lower you to the level of other toxic people… otherwise, you are no better than them! imo. This image right here doesn't help them, it's just childish, they should just ignore people who have different opinions instead of spending 24/7 on twitter still being toxic about it (which they still do). This is why these discourses never end, because neither side is willing to let it end.
Somehow, I don't think an anime girl trollface pic is more offensive than the immediate comments saying transgender people are pedophiles that should kill themselves.
Danbooru should really allow you to quickly add tags to your blacklist via the tag's wiki page or something. It would make it a lot easier to just not have to see certain posts or artists.
Freedom of Speech is the right to criticize your government and not be punished for it. It's not the right to say whatever you want wherever you want without consequence. The people in charge of this site can do whatever they want with their authority, and you can leave if you don't like it, same as any other site.
I'm not saying I agree with the choice here, but the mods have decided they don't want this volatile topic to continue, and have asked people to cease. Because they have asked this, they have to do something if people don't, otherwise why even have mods. Or would you rather they just started banning people for not following a simple request?
Whether I agree with it or not, that's how it is. I have better things to mald about than an imageboard deleting comments that would probably have just been downvoted into oblivion anyway, because most people are sick of this topic. If you wanna criticize the moderation team, the forums are open.
When did danbooru became a twitter feed lmao. And noname actually approved this.
Frankly, I don't give a shit about what's depicted in a picture as long as it's up to our standards, and neither should you. Blacklist transgender flag if it makes you angry.
Danbooru is an art repository, not a politics forum. Once again, nobody cares what your political opinion is. Please find another site to have endless arguments on, because this is not the place for it.
(It's also pretty fucking ironic that people are complaining about free speech and at the same time demanding that this post be removed because of what it depicts)
You're inviting this shit by approving content that is doing what it is supposed to, that is to be provocative and enforce people with stronger beliefs to argue. Come on man, we both know the lgbt flag is not the point here lol. Image is cool, it meets the standards for sure but funny thing is that you're somehow unhappy with those conversations you invited.
Damn, i left my car open in a suburban area and you will never guess what happened to it!

I suppose you think that we should also delete all controversial political pictures like post #4585662 then, to avoid chinese keyboard warriors from getting upset? And all pictures of Donald Trump as well? Freedom of expression goes both ways.
As for your analogy, by all means, approach the car strapped in land mines with a clear sign that says you'll get blown up if you approach it.

The problem with this is not the trans flag or trans people. Stop trying to spin it as that. The problem with this is that the story of Bridget becoming trans pushes the narrative that trans people likes grooming, which is extremely transphobic. So instead of being hostile because you think slapping a flag on something makes you right, try looking at WHY it's a terrible thing to do. Trans people and fans of the game are ran off an harassed for calling out the blatant transphobia like this and you people enjoy fanning the flame. If this is what you really want, then don't complain when you get called out for being a transphobes.

I still can't believe an admin of all people would push this shit. How many trans people have you silenced for exposing this transphobia? How many times have you abused your role as admin just to get the last laugh? You act like a fat redditor intoxicated by drama and trolling, throwing a fit when you are wrong about the subject.
If any of my comments calling out the blatant transphobia gets deleted or hidden, it shows the narrative you people want to push. I won't support it either.

Lmao. What did I say. Nevertheless, a predictable response from the people who wishes to make trans people look like groomers. SMH. I think we are done here.
The grooming accusations are so exhausting. I suppose parents making their sons cut their hair short and buying shorts and pants for them, and not skirts or dresses, is cis grooming, then? Buying their daughters dolls and their sons action figures is grooming, too?
You know, maybe if society didn't throw in your face every second what's "normal" for boys and girls, people who like nonstandard things wouldn't worry so much about how they're perceived.

Nice try spinning the narrative to protect transphobia and grooming. Being forced to be something and being raised with what you prefer is different. Sane people aren't telling their children how to act and shit and just raise them. You transphobes just want to force people to be what YOU want and claim it's all trans people that does this. So maybe think twice before you try to flip shit on people, transphobe.

He isn't pushing transphobia, although I don't agree with him regarding having certain images on this board. However, that isn'T actively pushing towards or against certain things. It's just a neutral stance because in the end, you would shut down certain art, and I can see this going against the spirit of the site (again, not agreeing, but I can understand keeping such stuff).

Also, because Danbooru is a art repository site, usually such sites will be on grey moral grounds because they can contain art from controversial artists, but have good quality.

There is a pretty substantial number of people who desperately need to feel persecuted. If they had been born a little different, they would probably be conspiracy theorists.
