The eyebrows are lousy, yes, but I kind of appreciate the bags under the eyes. It makes her a bit more realistic, and I'd actually expect it from any of the Children, but especially Rei. Fighting angels is stressful stuff.
Do we really put 3D graphics under the 'realistic' tag? It's not realistic. Realistic is something that looks like a real thing. This pic may look like a, say, Ayanami's doll, but not like a real girl.
