    kombat113 submitted an appeal:
I hand drew this and added high lights why is it low quality

A lot of these lines aren't very smooth; The inconsistency of lines on the hair is kind of jarring; Those ears stand out too much; It looks like you drew the face as if it weren't truly a part of the head.

... To name a few, from my opinion.

The question they asked was "why is it low quality". I believe the real answer, whether they want to hear it or not, is "because you need to practice for a few more years, stop drawing things in Microsoft Paint, and maybe sign up for an art class."

Dude, don't be an asshole. If the age of your deviantart account is any indication, you've only just started learning to draw, am I wrong? Compare your picture with, say, post #4045448. You're not going to bridge that gap in a day, nor will someone be able to explain what all needs to change for you to reach that level in one comment. Good art is appreciated in no small part because of how hard it is to make, and how much practice it takes. Don't get discouraged, but don't expect to hit a home run on your first swing, either.

Danbooru isn't for artist posting their stuff. It's a third party "aggravator" as some calls. DeviantArt, pixiv and twitter exist for a reason.

Posting self-drawn artworks here is pretty frown upon much likewise a poorly drawn one.

Also keep practicing. Last artist I know took a year to improve that the quality is different that it can be mistaken as a different artist.

What do you expect us to say? Seriously. This is obviously the work of a novice, and no amount of constructive feedback we can give you will change that. People don't simply develop skills overnight. If you truly want to produce art that's good enough for Danbooru, you'll focus on improving instead of seeking validation from strangers on the internet.

And in case you didn't notice, this site is not for artists. We are not here to provide motivation or coddle anyone's feelings. If an artist posts mediocre art here, and particularly if they then have the audacity to question why it got deleted, they should expect a brutally honest response.
