Funnily enough, the author of the Tosa Nikki Ki no Tsurayuki was a man, but wrote the whole diary in "the women's alphabet" (hiragana) and then, "to be consistent", kept referring to himself in the third person as a woman.

It's funny to me to think that it's basically author accidentally use wrong word to refer to himself and think "Fuck it I am now Woman for this work" for sake of it. Pretty Based if I say so.
