Now time for the emotional development of Flan as she fights for the honor of her house and of course Meiling. I honestly have no idea which way this will go, but for some reason I get the feeling Sanae is going to show up.

Siegmund said: Yup looks like they are setting Suwako up for a serious fall. Just been fighting too dirty and too often bending the rules.
I really doubt it, it looks more like setting up for a double rampage of Ex Bosses, which means we should start kissing goodbye Ring MK 1 and wait for his lil bro Ring MK 2 to take his place for future fights...
There won't be any "ownage" just people so beaten up that the winner will be the lucky one to stand up first...and a oblirated ring...

Ownage no, but just the way Suwako has gotten a bit on the nasty side since Sanae was taken out. Also add to that how things worked out in the earlier fights when "cheating" was involved, makes me think that Suwako is gonna end up with the worse of it.
The fire then now the rope (dubious tactic if legit at all) and breaking Meiling's leg (is it broken?) and the fact she looks like he is enjoying it (in a hateful way) is making Suwako seem "the bad guy". I could be misinterpreting the character itself but really you just want Flan to slap Suwako around now.
Suwako was already getting on the 'heel' side a while back. Remember that she was planning the "poison mist" trick way before the match, and eagerly planning to use it.
I somehow think Suwako will win this one, looking at it from an author p.o.v. It would make their next match personal with Reimu and Remilia, at the same time giving us the dual miko battle a lot of people are wanting.

Ya but Flan vs big sister Remi has more meaning IMO. Flan failing here might be a bit of a letdown story wise since she is always trying to live up to Remi's expectations.
RiderFan said: Spoig has a point. One side is always fighting dirty. All Yuugi, Rin, Remilia, Reimu, Yuuka, Cirno, Mokou, and Keine wanted was a fair fight.
That is true although I would exclude Yuuka, she just wanted a fight. I am guessing it is done to make for some emotional or moral break through as has been the case so far, but yeah this fight has really been one side from a moral stand point.

There's a lso Sakuya vs Remi, if she's somehow still in the matches (Havent been up to date due to no translation)
I know Reimu and Remi are going to reach the finals due to retarded Plot Armor, but one of the scarlet teams has to be eliminated on their first matches. It'll probably be Flan and Meiling, to be honest.

I dunno Sakuya vs Remilia is sorta, eh... Meiling vs Sakuya there is emotion.

Well I would have agreed except for two reasons:
1. I think the author is rather fond of Flandre and more so then most for Meiling. Just a feeling I get, maybe I am seeing things.
2. Gohsokyo Tag tournament. Although the author never added the rest of the fight to his pixiv, well Meiling and Patchy won. So it's not like Meiling is always the loser :P
Spoig said: I wish Orenji Zerii would stop making one side of the fight the side we're supposed to root for. What's wrong with even fights of competitive skill?
I don't mind it because....well, consider the source material.
Heel and face are facts of professional wrestling, and that's taken to a totally different level in Kinnikuman.

Suwako is having the upper hand now.
Not sure it's a so much stamina alone than getting pepper in her eyes and her feelings.
And as far as fights go, Yuuka's style was very straight up, and to anyone that knew her, they seen her style coming from a mile away. And the Moriya group isn't popular enough to support their heel-like tendencies while the Flan/Meiling team is.

Hardly. I believe there were supporters on both sides for all, even in the face versus heel situation.
Chen/Ran v. Yuugi/Rin: Reasonably fair fight with both possessing tramp cards. Equally popular (Ran/Chen probably coming up top,) and neither had a "heel" feel.
Reimu/Remilia v.Youmu/Reisen: Everyone on the heel side had good intention (yes, even Yuyuko; fixed the translation.) The teams were outrageously outmatched, so I think that took away a lot of the heel hate (not to mention it's bunch of standard pro-wrestling stuff). Both teams consisted of very popular characters.
Yuuka/Cirno v. Suwako/Sanae: Was there even heel and face for this? We love Yuuka for her brutality (and her fairness,) Cirno's adorable and adds to the dere moment in the finale, Suwako shows off her badass side, and Sanae is extremely popular (at least in Japanese fandom, especially at the time the strip way made.)
Keine/Mokou v. Kaguya/Eirin: Despite featuring most notable hidden "heel" so far, they didn't exactly cheat(unless Aya was bribed)...this is coming from a big Mokou/Keine fan who was very disappointed at them losing. Match featured popular characters, tear jerker story, and everyone getting a chance to show off their better side. As far as I've seen, I saw supporters on both sides.
This match: Flan doesn't give a shit even if she kills Sanae, on the other hand, she has no idea what she's doing wrong. Suwako goes merciless berserk mode, on the other hand, her rage is justified hearing that Flan had no remorse trying to kill off Sanae (who is essentially her daughter.) Sanae and Meilin adds boobs and good people factor.
I don't see it being so one sided. Although perhaps I'm the strange one cheering for Suwako despite all the hate in the comments right now (and I usually dislike Moriyas)
Meiling: I used to be a fighter, until I receave a Suwako to the knee.
This hit has certainly been honed by many battles!Episode 441: Leg KillingFrom the artist's Pixiv page.Like I said, it's only a distraction!*grab**grab*Dirty Fight*snaking movement*Meiling!*break**dash*!!Ugh....Waaaaaaa...She has killed her knee!!Player Flan has entered as backup!Player Meiling's leg is being picked up!Oh no, she coiled the rope around her leg!Player Suwako returns with that recoil.Player Meiling isn't moving!
