Honestly not sure how individual rights would be balanced in this situation. She's a sentient cat doing cat things. Is it then on Buff Otaku to just zip it and take the cute packaging or is it on the courier to make special provisions for instinctual behaviors that might tamper with goods? Would the latter be considered discrimination?

To be fair, when the packet was delivered (from the office) it was devoid of any prints. The courier service thus doesn't get any share of blame in this situation, since 'blemish or damaged package' counts toward the risk of delivery.
