No, it looks like it's really chocolate, it's melting in her hands between the last pic and this one...

I think it's just an amorphous lump of chocolate because she didn't care about making it into any given shape, and she just wrapped a ribbon around the still-liquid chocolate, and it came undone.

Also, I don't think this is so much Sadism fail as it is that she was using Sadism as a tsun-tsun front in case she got rejected.
