Happy Mother's Day everyone! I'm carrying on last years theme of dedicating this piece to a specific kind of parent like in my previous Father's day artwork. This year's piece is dedicated to all the mom's who although they have passed on are still always with us whether they be in the leaf-filled wind or an heirloom they handed down.

I lost my mom in August last year. This will be my first Mother's Day without her. So this piece says something very personal, both because my mom and I had a very strong, shared love of Disney, and because I really do believe she is still here with me just like Pocahontas' mom was with her.

To all of you, whether your mom is there with you in body or in spirit, I wish you a Happy, happy Mother's Day. Heart
