    I don't think there's an exactly a precedent preventing them from doing that. The only issue I would see is that there's not enough prominent characters for them to make use of. There's Nunnally, Kallen, and CC, that's about it.

    Cornelia, Euphemia and Shirley are prominent female characters, as well as Kaguya in season 2, man what a great anime is CG!
