I wouldn't say traced, but it's hard to believe it wasn't "inspired" by the post you're linking to. Enough to be a derivative_work, IMO.
Apparently being a derivative work is good enough to make this one of the artists highest scored image on this site too. Artist also accused of doing AI jobs after a sudden spike in the general level of detail of their work. You hate to see it over artists that do their own work from scratch. :(
Look different enough imo. I dont understand how people are not allowed to use other images for inspiration.
Usually it's considered good etiquette that if you're going to copy someone else's creation so closely that it just barely avoids being an outright trace, you have the decency to at least credit it as your reference. They didn't even bother to give her a different expression, besides slightly angling her eyebrows.
This isn't the first time they've done this kind of thing, either. post #5509821 was just wholesale stolen and painted over to make post #5628696.

I dont understand why it has such a high score either. Like are people trolling or something? This is kind of worse then the upvoting of duplicate reposted images I was mentioning last week since its outright stolen artwork we're celebrating here. The artist also started using AI assistance too like I mentioned above so it just kind of rubs me the wrong way that we're giving this stuff so much exposure on this site and basically encouraging it in a sense.

Danbooru has thousands of lurking users who don't care where the art came from or even if it actually looks any good. They just see tits and immediately upvote it. All the score means is that 265 (-2) people saw this image on the front page, coomed, and then gave it a meaningless upvote. Hell, this conversation bumping the post probably helped its score.

Not sure what to say if some guys retrace over another characters artwork is the best pair of tits people could find yesterday. Might be personal preference but I'd have a hard time getting turned on by this particular one. Something looked off about it from the get go even, but getting a direct link to the artwork it ripped off just confirms the suspicion.
