I don't think so. What I like is it's only ever used with Pikachus, since no-one ever actually draws things with gender differences EXCEPT FOR Pikachus.

Y'know, at 13lbs a Pikachu, there must be something like half a ton of pokemon precariously balanced on Ash's head there.
That's really gotta hurt the neck.

Plusle & Minun were relegated to a movie and mini-movie-thing, and Pachirisu was phazed out of the animu in favor of Piplup. I suppose Pichu might be doing well (and both it and Pachirisu are paired with Pikachu on the WFC screen in HG/SS and D/P/Pt, resp.), but none of them have the original's staying power.
