Meh, he/she looks like he/she's enjoying it. No problems in that case.

Even still, I suddenly got the feeling that an impending wave of despair is about to befall our Okuu... I really hope it doesn't end up going as badly as "Do Your Best, Kogasa-chan!" did for a while.

I think it depends on what you just grow up being used to... If a giant red glowing Sauron-like eye means "Mommy's nearby", then giant red glowing Sauron-like eyes might just be comforting.

Also, I'd like to take this random chance to say that Okuu makes a goofy/fun mother. She and Shinki ought to have a book club or something.
