I get that AC is usually more on the real robot side but I really want to play as something like this in an AC game. It's not like Ibis and the final bosses of AC6 were remotely grounded so something like SRW but with AC-style gameplay would be sick.

That actually already exists - it's called Another Century's Episode and developed by FromSoft themselves
