"Bust Sonic" and "Burst Sonic" can be written the same way, and Tenshi would say them the same. If we didn't have the next image, there'd be no way to tell that's what she meant.

"Burst sonic" would be written as バーストソニック as opposed to バストソニック. Also the pronunciation IS different, so even without the next image you would be able to tell what she meant.
It would be written different as Elijah has already said. However, I agree with uncreative that Tenshi would pronounce them both pretty much the same, because she talks in a faint voice without any long vowels. Therefore, the long "a" in バースト would most likely become almost the same as a regular "a".
