I hate Kushina. Because she told Naruto to date someone just like her (Sakura) and not someone weird (Hinata)... I get a really strong feeling that NarutoxHinata will never happen now. I also enjoyed how the manga just completely ignored Hinata confessing to Naruto. :sarcasm:
I knew a picture like this would come out. Don't worry, if anything Kushina meant Hinata more than she meant the pink haired backstabber who spent the majority of the show angsting about Sasuke and his emo penis. Weird girls however don't moan about how the guy they love is a criminal and wants to stop them when all thier doing is walking into a suicide trap.
Yeah I'm pretty confident Hinata with all her flaws would fit Kushina as a loving, trusting, tough and selfless girl for her son.

The manga's ignored a lot of things (such as the Rinnegan originally being the greatest of the three eye-jutsu despite the Sharingan now having more abilities than FMA has scenes with Armstrong flexing). Ignoring Hinata's confession really shouldn't be a surprise at this point.
Um, why do you people make such a big deal about this? Last time I checked this show is a shonen, not some slice of life romance anime. T_T Although, I agree that its pretty messed up that Kishi completely ignored that whole moment but I'm sure he will get to it at some point in the story. @Doom Just because the sharingan has more abilities doesn't mean its more powerful. By your logic the samurai with the most katana's would be the most powerful samurai of all.
Actually I'd consider Sakura being the 'someone weird' just because of that 'second personality-slash-inner monologue' thing she does every so often. People who do that are just weird. Shy people aren't weird. :)
LOL at people thinking Kushina's statement gave any chances to Sakura. That's just NaruSaku fans grasping for straws :)
Someone weird...wow. I got news for you people: Sakura (you know, the girl with an unexplained obsession with an S-ranked criminal, sudden and unnecesary violent tendencies, and a second personality which causes her to have hundreds of inner monologues), is X100 times weirder than Hinata (a girl who is very shy. that's all...).
Amazing how some poeople try to twist reality to so much in order to fit their pairing, just because its basically a sure thing that it won't happen now.
People, give it up already. Naruto already knows Sakura won't ever be able to stop loving Sasuke as her N#1. That WON'T change. Sakura cares so much about Naruto, she was prepared to PRETEND to have feelings for him, and forget about Sasuke...but Naruto saw through her and rejected the situation.
Regardless of Naruto ending up with Hinata (which might or might not happen), its already decided that Sakura won't EVER stop loving Sasuke more than anyone else.

Except my logic isn't basing on the number of abilities so much as it is what they do. Rinnegan: Allows the user to learn/master any/all non-kekkei genkai jutsu.
Byakugan: 359 degree X-ray vision, as well as matching telescopic vision.
Sharingan: Allows the user to perfectly copy/master non-kekkei genkai moves after seeing them once, allows for limited precognition, grants the user the ability to create a near-unbreakable super-genjutsu (Tsukiyomi), allows for the creation/limited control of unquenchable super-fire (Amaterasu), let's the user create a practically impenetrable armor (Susano'o), allows for a split-second control/rejection of reality (Izanagi), and in one seen case; lets the user warp targeted areas/body parts/people into another dimension (???)
And let's not forget that despite the Rinnegan being the greatest, almost all of Pain's bodies were taken out by Naruto alone, whereas Naruto himself has admitted even his Sage Mode isn't strong enough to stop Sasuke.
Agreed with Doom. The way i see it, the Rinnegan is just a free pass to learn all normal level Jutsus and the higher versions of them. The Sharingan on the other hand can just make up its own rules as it goes. More so when you go through that whole "Take your brothers eye" route. Not even Pain was ever given the power to warp reality. Yet in the Sharingan's case, we've seen it in multiple cases from different users.
I doubt Naruto could win againts Danzo let alone Sasuke without the ninetails backing him up.

Except that if Naruto weren't being an idiot he would've trounced Sasuke. Seriously, he didn't even use Sage Mode and just went with the basic low-level Rasengan, and Sasuke had just gone through multiple big fights (only one of which he actually won). Sage Mode + Rasenshuriken = Sasuke's face gets torn apart on a cellular level.

I dont think anyone would disagree with your statement. Other than the Chakra animal gods ofcourse. But the issue with the Rasenshuriken is still accuracy. Pain has shown that all you really need to do is just simply jump away. Its big and slow. Chidori, a move we've seen since the begining of Naruto is faster than the Rasenshuriken. I'm also willing to bet anyway that Susasanoo could block it anyway.
So in the end it, it all comes down to who gets the first clean hit.

Which character stated Rinnegan was the strongest of the three anyways? That character was just going by his limited knowledge and could easily be mistaken. Its not like Kishi stated it himself. Besides this is Sasuke where talking about, Japans favorite emo character of all time, so of course Kishimoto's gonna make sure he has a crapload of crazy jutsu's to please the fans.
The Sage of the Six Paths would have ROFLstomped the entire current cast at once had he not died long ago. After all he was able to do a Chibaku Tensei that was thousands of times stronger than Pain's version (which was Pain's strongest attack by far, even stronger than what he oneshotted Konoha with), despite the fact that he was dying of old age at the time. So yes I'd say Rinnegan is the strongest.
