I don't think that's really possible thanks to the eye socket. More to the point, given that information, I don't think this scenario is possible without removing the eye first.

The eyes are fragile in the sense that when they are damaged and the sight is lost it does not regenerate and regain its function like skin would, which is why it is beneficial for the eyes to be sensitive to pain.

It takes a lot of force to do that to any eye, I'm one to speak, I have had something thrown and jammed into my eye when I was a kid (fights and whatnot). I didn't lose my eye, but the sight I had is almost completely gone. Anyways, this picture, makes me sad, especially since it's Reisen.
