No, not yet.

It seems that you need a special shoes to do the lean. The shoes might as big as a boot.

Look at the picture again. How's sandal work in supporting their body mass without breaking their ankle?

Look up various videos on YouTube, including Jackson's own extended-length Smooth Criminal video and third-party hobbyist reconstructions. I don't think a boot is needed per se.

In the wiki article, it says the special shoes were made with ankle supports. So shoes should be fine. As far as sandals go, Idolm@ster isn't real in the first place so... logic goes out the window.

Given the heel, those shoes could stay fixed in place. Those sandals might be weaker for ankle support though. It explains the wobbling girl.
