It makes for a convenient excuse how his dad lost his shinigami powers, if at least temporarily.

note: barring error in translation, he's only losing his "shinigami" powers, not his Hollow stuff. What that might end up resulting in afterward is up for grabs.

Ichicard? Well, Ichigo becoming Alucard is the only way he can become broken enough to out HAX Captain Broken.

Am I the only one that notices how badass Ichigo looks, and is pointing it out without useless arguement.

I'm pretty sure that After he loses his powers, some of the people from the Gotei 13 will give some of their power to him, just like Rukia did at the beginning of the series.
