Tons of negative response turned this game into an alternate universe. So it's not apart of the storyline anymore.

Ninja Theory stated this is a reboot, so this is a whole new stroyline for DmC, this is the most controversial game preview in TGS which garnered the "WHAT?!" moment.

Why was this even approved? I can't believe that Capcom let Ninja theory, a british developer, tarnish DMC's excellent track record. And since Capcom didn't make this, we can all pretend that this doesn't exist.

There are some badass people who start out kind of messed up. Some have hard times and that is what hardens them. I wont argue with anyone but you can never tell how someone(character) got the way they are.

It is an original game. This will be one of those sham additions to the series that is nothing like the original games. Just look at Ninja Theory's track record. They can do some pretty scenery, but they are mediocre at making action games. It will be casualized into becoming more like God of War. Say hello to QTE every boss and big enemy!
And the controls will be unresponsive as fuck.

Just look forward to Bayonetta 2 instead. Maybe Kamiya can fix som kind of crossover with Capcom allowing his original Dante to fight alongside or against Bayonetta.
