Kanako gets a fancy font for communicating through stained glass. Hmm...all my text notes are shifted up a bit in the resized view, even though I carefully positioned them in the original-size view. Oh well.

What I want to know is what her motives are. As much as I like Kanako she never seemed particularly charitable to me so I bet this has some sort of benefit for the Moriya shrine. But how...

God needs prayer badly. If Alundra's taught me anything, it's that gods (of the gaming sense, not that whole "religion" type) gain power when prayed to. Sometimes they might give thanks, and if they aren't prayed to for some reason, they get angry.

she "likes industrial revolutions", the game said. she seems to like to fuck with natural order and the balance of power to the extreme. I really have the strong suspicion that they went to Gensokyo not because they needed "more faith", so much as Kanako was selling nuclear secrets outside of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty and the UN clamped down on her and they jumped to the one place they would never find her
