That was one of the most traumatically sad episodes I've seen in an anime ever. No, I don't need you to read me off a list of all the snuff-anime you take so seriously. This episode was subtle,in a series you wouldn't expect to get that dark. It had some drama and grit, but not this. That was plain unexpected, and I never felt closure like I knew what it was supposed to mean, and neither did Jim. :(

Sometimes I wonder how Jim or Hanmyo and her cats would've reacted, considering how they really hit it off well, if they'd both discovered the allegiances the other had. Jim, partner of Gene Starwind and opponent of the Kei Pirates and Hanmyo, one of the Anten Seven there to kill Gene Starwind. Would they have been enemies? Would possibly Hanmyo and her cats defected to Jim's side? We'll never know.
