Here's the first artwork in my small series of drawing Skyla in various poses ^^

I wanted to try drawing a single character in a bunch of different poses, so I picked Skyla from Pokémon. I ended up drawing drafts of five different poses for her and I plan to finish rendering all of them eventually, since I don't want any of the drafts to go to waste. This is the first of those artworks.

I'm extremely happy with how this one turned out. Not only am I satisfied with the pose, but I'm really happy with the rendering, too. ::happybounce::

I'm really trying to adapt to a simpler shading style, so I've been studying MinaCream's shading style in preparation for this. I learned a lot from her, and working on this artwork was a huge learning experience overall!
I managed to save a lot of time and stress on my wrist, and I'm really liking this new style :La la la la:
