Only Contributors. I'm still a Builder, unwise choices keep leading to high deletion rates whenever promotion waves swing by so I get skipped.

When you're unres your duplicates don't get deleted (just make sure not to pass yours off as the parent post) and deletions don't affect you in the event that they get flagged (which they shouldn't because duplicates are not flaggable). As a res user, it's way more punishing to even accidentally upload a duplicate just a few seconds too late, or sometimes even too close to call that the duplicate checker can't yet warn you that you're about to upload a duplicate.
