I don't get the context of the commentary — when and where was this purge?
It was about five years ago, but during that time mike inel was hit with DCMA takedowns from Nintendo because of his Patreon uploads. He took them down and reposted them on Twitter, after which his Twitter was hit with takedowns as well.
Unfortunately, Nintendo has also given my Twitter a DMCA takedown for Splatoon related works. Sadly, I have to delete them all to keep my account safe.
