Personally, I like fighting these guys with my Unarmed specialist. :3 It's just more fun that way.

Also, is it just me, or are the ones at Quarry Junction stronger than the ones at Dead Wind (with the exception of the Legendary)?

Yes, they actually are for some reason, or so my friend told me.

Also, Anti-Material Rifle, a Psycho, and a Steady... amazing scenes of following a bullet in slow motion until it completely beheads even the alpha male and mother deathclaws in a single shot. Ah, good memories...

However, my memories from when I ventured into the Quarry in the beginning of the game... not as good.

No kidding. Didn't even know there were Deathclaws there because the one guy who's SUPPOSED to warn you about them never told me about em DX

Really though, what ARE Deathclaws? What combined to make them? D8

They are mutated lizards. Jackson Chameleons to be exact. Joeseph in Fallout 2 reveals this, as he was a medic for "smart" and peaceful death claws.

These things are the main reason for why I love my dartgun.

There more of them in Deathclaw promontory than Quarry Junction.

I remember the good old days when I'd just zap their ass with a shot from an Alien Atomizer and lose no VATS.
