JTF member XX-chan: (I wish to stay longer with Sensei no matter what... but knowing that someone like me has no defining characteristics, it might be hard for him to remember me...)
"G-good morning, Sensei! ○○ is here!"
(...But I think, oh well, I'm fine with that too...)
Sensei: "Morning! I'm looking forward toー ...hm?"
2nd panel:
Sensei: "...Huh? Wait... your name is XX, right? What are you doing here?"
3rd panel:
Sensei: "...Are you not feeling well today?!
Don't tell me, are you being bullied?!"
I'm guessing this is referencing the whole "Students can't see each other's halo, including their own" thing from yesterday, with an implication that someone that is not from Kivotos, like Sensei, can see them.

That's kinda interesting but unless they start explaining what exactly the students are, it just seems like a throwaway line.

Nothing actually implies sensei directly see halo either. We as the player see halo because it's important for student marketing and identification and such, and there's a possibility student recognize their own halo since Shun have accessories depicting her own halo. But even sensei fails to identify student through disguises (the whole Wakamo event thing where she dresses a bunch of thugs as herself and fooled everyone, and also Kisaki fooling sensei with disguises) which would've been pointless if sensei can always clearly see and identify student through their halo.
All this fact mean is that it answers how disguises, or playing dead and such would otherwise work in Kivotos. Nobody actually see the halo.

I mean, it helps cover plot 'holes', but making the halo a non-presence in-universe kinda makes the game lose a bit of charm and mystery.
