DB Eschaton: The Talk
When his daughter Bulla first asked to be called Eschallotte (the traditional Saiyan name he intended to give her) when she was 12, Vegeta was ecstatic. He took her out for ice cream, and they had a great day training and hanging out. He told her stories of the old days, with, of course, the necessary "this was wrong of us to do" disclaimers.
Now, six years later, he suspects he may have gone slightly overboard on the positive reinforcement. She's fully embraced her Saiyan identity, warts and all, no, it's actually the warts she likes best. The disclaimers seem to have gone in one ear and out the other; her soul screams out for the blood-and-thunder conquest her Saiyan ancestors once perfected to an art form.
Also, quick and dirty retcon: she now wished for her tail a year before the Tournament instead of a few days before, so all the fun shenanigans with both the big hair and the tail can happen
