oh so now genshin characters can be 'keyed' to a real life country/place? also, youre everywhere on these posts, why dont you just block the artist tag and move on?
Tanned Signora a baddie like Brazilian Miku. Every Genshin girl should have tanned fan art cause tans are hot. Also I have no idea what baddie even means, but I assume it means they're hot, cause that's how everyone uses it.

The fact that you say the EXACT opposite of all of this when the topic is about a character like Mavuika or Olorun...
You do know that when you draw white characters as black, that's also racism?
This is nowhere CLOSE to what Mihoyo does regularly, as a billion-dollar company rather than just some twitter artist for fun, but i guess inconsistently whining about how there aren't enough white characters is Genshin is all half this community knows how to do

I thought Signora was from the ice world, so Russian-oriented, but you suggest it's closer to Venice?

She's a native of Monstat. Which is why she made sure to give Venti a solid to the ribs after she stole his gnosis.

Their characters, their world, their rules. You can bitch and moan all you want but its their decision.

You saying this whilst bitching and moaning is funny But it isn’t their characters, they’re adapted from the real world, and i always had a suspicion you’d only want white cultures properly respected, this is just the proof

Don't mind me dodging the rest of the heated argument just to drop an "Acthually". Signora is from Mondstadt, which, although is based on various west european countries, it's mostly based on Germany, not Venice. If you want a weird mixture of France (mostly), Italy and England, that's Fontaine.

Honestly given how this argument went south, I forgive thee, my son. I do like kicking the anthill sometimes, but here... And it's funny, because I was just reading something about the Empire from Warhammer being inspired by the Holy German Empire, and just after reading this, I find your comment. And I think I can see the familiarity, through Mondstadt reminds me more of Warcraft's humans town than Warhammer's. Damn, now I want to reinstall Genshin Impact just to see Fontaine, but I fear that all the gratuitous French will make me dislike it. What will sound very exotic to a foreigner will sound like garbled French to me.

Eh, I know the feeling. Italian is one of the languages that everyone loves to use in a gratuitous way and... most of the time badly. Fontaine too has quite a bit of italian lingo here and there. That being said, I think Genshin's storytelling has gotten better and better and Fontaine's is one of their best, so if you're willing to go over all the random ly used French, it might be worth a shot.
