I'm not sure that Mokou can turn things around, even this. And she isn't Sanae; then again I think even Sanae'd have a hard time as there's no issues in the HJ team.
And viola, now I sea we could of not been using the rite word's and speling and grammer all thorough the translation's of the comic's that are good enough to be in cannon, however their are two many too re-pair now.

That was almost physically painful to type.
It was just as painful to read, please don't do that again.
Is it a threat, per se? For a pair of immortals like Mokou and Komachi, the life of a human, even a half-hakutaku, is pretty short. Short enough that, even if she died of old age, it would still register as "soon enough".
The threat would be that if Mokou doesn't start to repent and make up for her sinful past, Keine will be damned by association. ...association by guilt in the afterlife is hardly an unknown concept in Asian mythology, after all.

Long post totally unrelated to the page (Feel free to skip it) It has been a year whole that I have contributed in translating this series, and I believe it is time for me to drop it in favor of other works. There are now more competent translators in the field, and I have my faith in a handful of them to continue what I left behind. After all, I could care less now, given that I can just check on pixiv for new pages. Oh, I don't really care whether that post was supposed to be an insult or a jest. This is coming from a guy who had just gone through the worst week of his lifetime ever, and yet still persisted on contributing. To the other readers, thank you for your support for the whole year, and have a nice day.

Well, the idea is that saving a sinner who doesn't stop sinning (harming others in so doing) is worse than just letting them die. I mean, if you nurse Ted Bundy back to life and he then goes on to murder half a dozen people, you are partially responsible for those deaths, from a certain point of view (like that of certain Yamas, perhaps).
Now, if you save them, then convince them to stop sinning, that's another story. Which is what Komachi is talking about here, the fact that Mokou is unrepentant after Keine saved her means that Keine is (at least partially) responsible for her sins.

This farce of a tournament is in NEED of proper heels, and they're doing an exemplary job.
The reason Higan Judgment needs to win is A) so we can be rid of Mokou and Kaguya and B) so we can be spared any further goddamn lectures about THE NATURE OF FRIENDSHIP AND WORKING TOGETHER.
Dear Lord. This started out action-y but now it's turning into talkytown.

It's a bit odd... as a simpler example, say you just helped someone evade the police, without knowing what's going on. When (or rather, if) that person is caught, you can be held as an accessory to the offender by not turning him in, even if you didn't know what happened, since you were perverting the course of justice or some stuff like that. You get the idea.
What's happening in the comic is a rather more complex version of this. Since Mokou's apparently quite the sinner (which is unsurprising given how long she's had to do deeds, good and bad), and Keine's befriended her, by not helping Mokou make up for the sins she's committed (or not even knowing about them in the first place) she's just as sinful as Mokou is and is going to suffer for it. Or at least that's what Komachi's implying. Or rather, since Mokou's a sinner, Keine becomes one by proxy due to helping her out.
I swear, if I overthink this any more, I'm going to give myself a headache.

I read that last bit in the voice of Foamy the Squirrel.
Wait, hang on. Keine DOES know Mokou's a sinner (if Komachi's right). Yyyeah, (just to add to the first post) if Keine's not doing anything to try and get Mokou to make up for her sins (which she is), then she's just as sinful as Mokou for not helping her make up for her wrong-doings.
Deshter said: So what will Mokou choose: character development or pathetic attempt to punch Komachi in the face?
latter
In this case, wouldn't punching Komachi in the face be helpful to at least her team mate? Defending a friends honor can be a bit of character development. It just is that it isn't exactly the right reasons for it now.
I meant that. No character development, only Mokou going suwacky
But i must admit, i kinda want Mokou to do something flashy and effective to put her at least on par with other teams, since her match against Kaguya was a huge trainwreck. Or at least she could develop at least SOME ability to read the atmosphere. Or AT LEAST at least finally get some better characterization, than "baww Kaguya baww Keine".

But wouldn't that be a reason to want them to lose? As long as they're competing, every match they're in will have more talking than fighting. It's Shikieiki after all.

But at least they'll be lectures about different things.

That's pretty much the point of the Kinniku-man series this is based off of. Whole friendship power ordeal.

Rumours say that his butt hurts to this day.
I couldn't care less. It's not like I'm worried for you.Still, it'll be too much of a pity, wouldn't it?Saving a sinner, knowing she's a sinner, is itself a sin.If you keep that stance......in the near future, I'll be taking that sinner across the river.What?Hah...Hoho?Sigh...So you've no problem burdening yourself full of sins? That's why you're a child.Unfortunately......So you want me to be serious?...I have no need of your meddling.Of the same flockEpisode 652: That which is Close and InevitableFrom the Artist's Pixiv page.
