Nikkes are cyborgs. Human brains in robot bodies, and it's established that the first generation of Nikkes were wholly non-humans and every single one reversed since they could not accept what their bodies were. T-Dolls are completely inorganic aside from the Anti-Rain Squad, and in their case their neural clouds are more based on a human brain then being a human brain, but them looking like humans is wholly an aesthetic sense since the United States and Russian forces use non-human dolls.
