Genuine question because I'm not sure how it works. But when artists tell people to not repost their art to other sites, is Danbooru an exception to that or are we just ignoring what the artists are saying and by putting it on this site, reposting it anyway?

The artist would have to create an account and request a DCMA claim to have their art removed. As such, they have an additional tag, banned artist.
