Is it wrong for me to cheer for Reimu? Despite her being overratedly well... Overrated, kinda... With good reason, by the way... I still find her extremely compelling and awesome.

Not saying that Aki and Nazrin aren't, really. But Reimu is still special awesome. For me, anyways.

I see Aki sisters are mostly portrayed as kind of losers. I hope this can change it..

Considering how Hina performed, I'd suspect Shizuha's death-and-decay powers might get amped up dramatically.

Possibly demonstrated by disintegrating clothes.

Were it any other series this would be a curb-stomp battle but so far in this series intelligence and creativity have been a stronger factor. As absent minded as she is I don't think Yuyuko is actually going to be that much help and our Tiny, Tiny Clever Commander is going to have a power boost. I suspect that match will mostly revolve around Nazrin vs. Reimu.

My other theory is that all the 'interesting' matches happened up front and the author is speeding through matches that are little more than cameos, which is something I feared as soon as I saw the match-up sheet. The matches grow more random and lacking in character chemistry as they progress.

This Reimu is a fake.

good question as I don't think we missed that fight already.

I'm looking forward to seeing what Shizuha can do.

My honest opinion is that the quality of writing and plot has gone down in each and every match since the first one. Hoping for a turnabout here.

Keep in mind that the Cirno/Wriggle Dai/Satori round didn't have a chapter title page either.

I just realize something. If we look at it from another way this is a fair match.
Death and Decay:
Yuyuko vs. Shizuha
Money hunter:
Reimu vs. Nazrin

what death and decay powers? Her ability is changing the leaf colors.

There's a chance that the tourney was front-loaded with the author's favorite characters and he's just trying to hurry back to their story.

Am I the only one who is expecting Yuyuko to be snacking on something in every panel she appears in throughout this entire comic?
