One quick counter doesn't mean they can take Higen Judgment out. Eiki and Komachi have shown the best technical wrestling skills in this entire damn comic, if Dei Shirou ponies out another impossible underdog win, I bet he'll lose most of his readers, both here and on pvix.

As was pointed out earlier, any time there's a curb-stomp battle in this comic, the losing team pulls off a bullshit victory in the end.

Protagonist: I am about to lose this match, but I am going to perform a secret technique separate from my training that completely invalidates the entire battle up this point, ha-ha.

Hero's winning all the time is boring. Dei Shirou must know by now that most of us are actually rooting for Higen Judgment since they're the best technical and the most genre savy of the entire crew sofar.

Not to mention, unlike all the other one-sided fights, Komachi and Eiki brutally and efficiently counter attack any advantage Kaguya and Moku gain. Infact, I'll bet in the next few strips. Moku and Kaguya will gain some momentum, but a pivotal action will return control to Higen.

Only time I saw that was Sanae-related stuff, with Ran/Chen vs Yuugi/Orin, it was one sided all the way with even Yukari's little tricks coming to no real avail (Ran was damaging herself worse than Yuugi with that one assault)

And How Youmu and Reisen did in their match earlier was more desperate attempt to win before their foes got serious. It failed and when Reimu and Remilia got serious things ended FAST.

I still think the HJ have this match as the yama's fending off the attack pretty well in contrast to the devastating blows stuck against the immortals.

Reisen and Youmu weren't curb-stomping, so much as fighting dirty. They paid for in the end, though. I'll agree with you on Ran/Chen vs Yuugi/Orin, though - that was pretty one sided. On the other hand, when you think about it, had the Aki sisters not been disqualified via Okuu, then the curb stomp battle would have been the other way around...

I would have laughed so hard had we seen Aya writing down what Mokou said in the next strip.
