Well, most of them. Being good with Youkai doesnt automatically mean being good with ALL of them. Alice is an antiosocial bitch(And i mean that in the nicest way possible) and Yuuka practically lives as a Hermit.

While Alice is anti-social, its not nearly bad enough that she should be called a b*tch. She lets travelers spend the night in her home free of charge after all. Its just that she ignores them beyond providing the basic necessities (food, where the bathroom is, where they can sleep, etc.) and focuses on her work, so she's not great company.

He seems to come off more as the classic Japanese "Eldest Son". The guy that aspires to be the man his father can be proud of, the man that every man should be. A staple of Japanese literature.
