The "?!" makes me think Rumia just noticed the meat she's pouncing on.

My thought was that the speed lines show that she's chasing it at high speed and it somehow keeps getting away from her, hence the ?! by her head.

This is an accurate representation of how Rumia sees your character when playing EoSD.
