It might be used to refer to reincarnation colloquially, I'm not sure; the Buddhist term which corresponds to "reincarnation" in English would be 転生. And Mima's theme is "Reincarnation" spelled out in katakana (リインカーネーション), so there's no guaranteed parallel there.

復活 is exclusive of reincarnation. Splitting the two characters gives "restore living". It has to be a dead body that is returned to life.

There's still a chance that the anonymous stage 1 mid-boss spirit later reveals herself as a new character. I wouldn't count on it, but it is possible. The fandom might well give her a name and personality in any case.
It can only be one person, Zombie Wriggle! But seriously it does sound like Mima or at least Zun trolling us into thinking Mima then we find out it's just a new character that had past ties with Yuyu.
