Yes, I was p'd when I found out about the incompatibility as well. But, just as I foresaw the 'reselling' of Playstation One games through online purchase, I foresaw the future availability of GB games on 3DS.

My exact reaction when I discovered that the DS didn't have the ability to play GB games. My poor precious Pokemon Yellow was forever left unplayed because my damn GBA broke.

Also: GBA games go into the DS Phat/Lite face down.

What do you mean modifications? Apart from the fact that the cartridge sticks out, there are no problems in playing GB-/GBC-games.

*tries it right now* What are you talking about? The DS phat and Lite are backwards compatible with the GBA games without modification. The regular GB-GBC games won't fit.

The game DS can't run the game programing wise, I recall seeing how-to on moding a DS to make it do so in the early days of the DS.

No one has noticed the error in panel 3? Kotone's talking to not-original Red [not terribly familiar with older Pokemon characters surprisingly] while in the others it's clearly the original Red she gave her DS too.

ETA: On second thought, I could be wrong and maybe she just have some extra DS's around. It's not that important in the long run but...
