This version of the fallen angel is my favorite. The most popular one was created by Alexandre Cabanel, the painting where Lucifer is laid on the ground, his right arm hiding the half of his face revealing only his eyes in an emotion of guilt and despair as he fell from Heaven.

However, the version of the Fallen angel as my reference (last photo) is painted by Roberto Ferri , 2011. It is one of his famous pieces. The thing that I like about it is the gesture of how Lucifer fell. As if he felt the devastation on how God, was once made him his favorite, threw him away.

But I think, both works are just beautiful... The portrayal of Neglect.
