It's not often that people remember that Eiki is about as tall as Komachi. Not that there's anything inherently wrong with adorable-Eiki being short and all.

It bugs me that people think she's a midget compared to Komachi, though.

Is there a reliable source for this? The only canon source that I could see giving this information would be cut-in images from PoFV, which A) all fit into the same size box, making them pretty unhelpful for estimating heights, and B) are drawn by ZUN, who is not exactly a master of anatomy.

For me, it's not that Eiki's short, it's that Komachi's tall. Perfect Memento says she has an "imposing stature" that's "overwhelming [even] if you see her in life", and it just makes sense to me that a psychopomp would be "larger than life", as it were.

The only picture I've seen showing the two stood up is Reimu's PoFV ending, and in that, Eiki appeared to be taller than Komachi, although that may have been due to Komachi being in the background a bit.
It'd be interesting to find more stuff that compares their sizes, though.
And even if Komachi is tall, it doesn't seem to stop people making Eiki a midget in comparison to around half the cast.
